The “STOKEd on Streams” summer program is a fun, interesting learning experience in our own backyard! It will consist of 4 full-day educational field sessions. Day 1: Learn about stream ecosystems through the lens of beaver ecology. Day 2: Students will learn all about the physical health of a stream. Day 3: Biological aspect of stream health. Day 4: Explore and study forestry, plant ID, and watershed topics. Engaging classroom activities at The Lodge each morning will expose students to basic knowledge of the theme for the day. Students then enjoy outdoor classroom experiences for the remainder of the day. Lunch will be provided. Free of charge to participants. **Inclement weather may adjust plans. STOKE is partnering with Broadwater County Conservation District for this new outdoor activity.
