2026 Jumpstart Your Future Grant

STOKE believes in the power of young people to pursue individual goals and dreams. STOKE is
awarding three graduating seniors a $500 Jumpstart Your Future grant. The awarded funds can
be used toward any expense involved with pursuing future goals. This includes, but is not
limited to, tuition, relocation expenses, rent, and supplies. Participation in STOKE programs is
not required, but may weigh in the final decision.
Please return completed essays to Mr. Schnittgen in the high school by May 1, 2026.
To apply for the Jumpstart Your Future grant, please submit a 1-2 page essay considering the
following topics:

• Please tell us what your 5 year goal for your future is.
• How have activities centered around science, technology, outdoor activities, knowledge,
  and entrepreneurship inspired you to pursue your goal?
• How has living and going to school in Broadwater County influenced your decisions to
  pursue this particular goal? What unique opportunities has this community provided for
  you? What could be better?
• Please describe any STOKE programs you have been involved with and how they have
  impacted you.
• What is the biggest financial challenge associated with pursuing your goal?
• If you had the opportunity to tell younger students about the value of programs involving
  science, technology, outdoor activities, knowledge, and entrepreneurship, what would
  you tell them?
