Broadwater Robotics

Broadwater Robotics gives students in Townsend, Montana, a hands-on way to explore STEM as they grow. From building with LEGO and learning to code to designing advanced robots for competition, kids develop teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Our program inspires the next generation of innovators while bringing the community together through robotics.

Broadwater Robotics is a part FIRST, competing in both FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) events. Through their participation, students gain hands-on experience in engineering, coding, and teamwork while developing valuable leadership and problem-solving skills.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global organization dedicated to inspiring young people to engage in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through hands-on robotics competitions. It has been around for over 30 years and has grown to include thousands of teams from more than 100 countries. Last year, over half a million students competed in FIRST competitions worldwide.
